Pakistan’s pacer Hasan Ali has fired shots on the PCB regarding biasness over the treatment of the injured players. In an interview with the Ultra Edge podcast, Hasan Ali expressed his anger with the PCB’s handling of Ayub’s injury, noting that the young opener received VIP treatment while other players did not. In the podcast, the Pakistan’s pacer asked why he did not receive similar support when he had suffered a long-term back injury, which kept him out of the game for a significant period.
“I had severe back pain and was away from cricket for a long time, but the PCB never offered any guidance or help with my recovery,” Ali said.
Hasan Ali accuses PCB over VIP treatment
“Yet, Saim Ayub is getting VIP treatment for his injury. Was I not part of the team in 2020? Was I playing for India?” he added, questioning the fairness of the treatment.
While Hasan Alis wished that Ayub recovers quickly, he also expressed his concern over the PCB’s inconsistent treatment of injured players. “If any player gets injured in the future, will they receive the same treatment? Will the PCB offer the same care to them? No, they won’t.”
Ali concluded by stating that while he hoped Ayub returned to fitness and won many matches for Pakistan, he believed that every rise had its fall. “If Saim Ayub gets injured again, will they treat him the same way?” Ali questioned.
